The Ideal 2465 is a compact P5-security cross cut shredder built for deskside and small team use, combining powerful performance with intelligent jam prevention.
In any office handling confidential records, payslips or client files, the right shredder is non-negotiable. The Ideal 2465 reduces documents to 2 x 15 mm cross cut particles that meet DIN 66399 P5 security standards, making reconstruction virtually impossible. A 580 watt single-phase motor handles 9 to 11 sheets of 80 gsm paper per pass, with a 240 mm feed opening wide enough for standard A4 documents, credit cards and paper clips.
The SSC smart shred control system monitors feed levels in real time, using visual indicators to prevent overloads before a jam forms. A 35-litre eco-friendly shred bin empties cleanly with or without disposable bags, while the zero-energy standby mode keeps running costs low between shredding sessions.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
