Hippo Moisture Absorber draws dampness out of the air in cupboards and other small, enclosed spaces. This pack includes eight 300g units for sites with several areas to treat.

Damp air in stationery cupboards, storerooms and wardrobes leads to musty smells, mould and mildew. Each Hippo unit absorbs up to 700ml of water from the surrounding air and holds it in a spill proof container. Setup takes seconds: open the pink lid, peel back the foil, leave the white paper intact and replace the lid. No power or plumbing is needed.

Because the units are compact, you can place one in each cupboard, store or locker bay rather than running a dehumidifier. They help prevent mould and mildew, combat musty odours and dry up dampness. When a unit is full, it can be disposed of with normal household waste.

Open the pink lid, peel back the foil cover and replace the lid. Do not tear the white paper under the foil, as it keeps the contents in place. Then sit the unit upright in the space you want to treat.
Each 300g unit absorbs up to 700ml of water. How long that takes depends on how damp the space is and the temperature. Replace the unit once it is full.
Hippo labels the unit for cupboards and small spaces, and does not publish a coverage area. For a larger room, a single unit is unlikely to be enough. Use several units or a powered dehumidifier for bigger areas.
Keep units out of reach of children and avoid contact with eyes and skin. If contents get in the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting and contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26.
Used units can go in normal household waste. Keep the lid on to avoid spilling the collected liquid. Pick up a replacement from this 8 pack and set it up in the same spot.
