Hands Free Laminating That Transforms Your Workflow

The GBC Foton 30 laminates, trims and delivers a finished sheet with almost no user input, running from a 30 sheet automatic feeder on cartridge film rather than pouches, in sizes up to A3.

Load the feeder, choose a mode and walk away. GBC publishes three operating modes, auto feed with auto trim, manual feed with auto trim, and full manual, so a batch of classroom signage and a single stiff certificate are both handled by the same machine. De-skew alignment straightens each sheet as it goes in, and the built in trimmer cuts the laminated sheet to size on the way out. A film low indicator shows when the cartridge needs changing.

The gain is unattended time. GBC rates the Foton 30 at a duty cycle of 80 documents a week, which suits a steady office, school or print room load rather than continuous production. It shuts down on its own after 15 minutes idle and carries a two year warranty.

No. The Foton 30 is a pouch-free machine and runs on GBC Foton 30 cartridge film instead. Laminating pouches of any size will not work in it. We stock the cartridge in 75 micron, code AA4410023, and 125 micron, code AA4410025.
It handles documents from 127mm to 297mm wide and 152mm to 432mm long, so it covers A4 and A3 as well as smaller items such as certificates and signage inserts. The maximum laminating width is 297mm.
The auto feeder is rated for 64gsm to 120gsm stock. Between 121gsm and 220gsm the feed becomes less reliable, so heavier items are better run one at a time. Manual feeding handles 64gsm up to 250gsm.
No. The film carrier is reloadable, so once you own a cartridge you can top it up with a refill film pack rather than replacing the carrier each time. The 75 micron refill is code AA4410026 and the 125 micron refill is AA4410028. Reloading reuses the existing carrier instead of replacing it at every film change.
GBC rates the Foton 30 at a duty cycle of 80 documents per week, so it suits steady office, school and print room workloads rather than continuous production runs.
