At 175 micron a laminated A4 sheet stops behaving like paper. It holds its shape when propped on a counter, clipped to a board or handed around a room, and it takes far more handling before the corners give way. That makes this weight the usual pick for menus, safety notices, instruction sheets beside machinery and teaching cards that pass through many hands.

ACCO describe a high plastic composition for a firm, glossy finish, and a sealed pouch that protects the contents against tampering. The trade off is that the finished sheet no longer folds or files neatly, so paperwork kept in binders is better in a lighter gauge.

Only if it is rated to 175 micron or more. For example, ACCO list the GBC iLam 1000 Touch and Fusion 7000L for pouches up to 250 micron, while the 240HS and iLam 350 stop at 125 micron.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
