The PrivaScreen for 23.8 Inch Monitors Sold as 24 Inch

PrivaScreen 4816901 is sized for 23.8 inch 16:9 panels, the viewable size behind a large share of the monitors sold today as 24 inch, so check this one first if your new screen is labelled 24.

Fellowes make a separate filter for a true 24.0 inch 16:9 screen, and the two differ by only a few millimetres. Getting the right one matters, because an oversized filter overhangs the bezel and an undersized one leaves a readable strip. This code measures 528 mm wide and 297 mm high.

Fellowes say it blacks out the screen from a 30 degree side angle while keeping the straight-on view clear, which keeps client records and email away from neighbouring desks. Quick Reveal tabs make it removable; double-sided strips suit a fixed setup. Its other jobs, per Fellowes: easing glare, keeping fingerprints and scratches off the monitor itself, and lowering the screen's blue light output by up to 47%. A 1 year limited warranty applies.

Often, yes. Many 24 inch class monitors have a 23.8 inch viewable screen. Check the spec sheet for 23.8, or measure the lit area against 528 x 297 mm.
Use the 24 inch 16:9 PrivaScreen instead, which Fellowes size at 532 x 299 mm.
Fellowes state the image goes dark from a 30 degree side angle. Someone standing right behind you can still see it.
Fellowes supply Quick Reveal tabs that stick to the bezel and hold the filter. Their instruction sheet is on this page.
Fellowes say it protects the screen from fingerprints. A soft cloth or our Fellowes screen cleaning wipes can be used on it.
