Black Breyta XL Mousepad, 280mm by 210mm
The black Breyta XL mousepad is over 25% larger than Fellowes' standard mousepads, measuring 280mm by 210mm and lying 2.5mm on the desk, in rubber with a fabric covering.
The published figures are 11.0236, 8.2677 and 0.0984 inches, converting to 280mm, 210mm and 2.5mm. Rubber is the material and fabric the covering, with 83% post-consumer recycled content published for the material. A non-slip base, a spill resistant coating and the flat-stitch edges Fellowes calls durable sit on the same pad, so the area is not the whole of what a specifier gets for the code.
A bench that already holds a full-size keyboard and a mouse can be measured against 280mm by 210mm before an order goes in, and Fellowes publishes the same size in inches for a specification written in imperial. The area is what this code is bought for, and it is the figure a buyer checks first.
Mousing surfaces in other sizes sit at office mouse pads, and pads that carry a rest of their own at mousepads with a built-in rest. Laptop risers, docks and stands are at ergonomics and laptop accessories, and desktop trays and pen pots at desk organisers.
