AutoMax 600M: A 600 Sheet Locked Tray for Busy Departments

The AutoMax 600M is the largest micro-cut machine in Fellowes' AutoMax range: a 600 sheet tray, a 4 digit SmartLock PIN and a continuous duty cycle for offices of ten or more people.

Where most auto feed shredders suit a team clearing its own desks, the 600M is sized for a whole floor. Fellowes say a full 600 sheet load takes about 15 minutes, and the continuous duty rating means it is always ready for the next stack rather than waiting out a cool down. Every page leaves as 2 x 12 mm micro-cut pieces (level P-5), more than 2000 per A4 sheet by Fellowes' count.

SmartLock lets the person loading the tray set a PIN so nobody can lift the lid and read the pages while they shred. Staples, paper clips and credit cards (through the 14 sheet manual slot) are all accepted. The waste drops into an 83 litre pull-out bin in a cabinet on castors. SilentShred, Sleep Mode and Auto Reverse are included, and Fellowes Australia cover it for 2 years on the machine and 7 on the cutters.

It holds three times the paper of a 200 sheet model, runs on a continuous duty cycle and adds a SmartLock PIN, which suits shared departments rather than a single desk.
You enter a 4 digit PIN and the lid stays locked while the load shreds. Fellowes say it engages with each shred cycle.
Fellowes list paper, staples, paper clips and credit cards for the 600M. CDs are not on its list.
Look for bags rated for an 80 to 85 litre bin, such as our Fellowes 36056 listing. One Fellowes data field names a smaller bag code, so we go by the bin size.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
