Fellowes publishes the white 6mm plastic binding comb as suitable for binding 2-20 page documents, on a 21 loop comb binding machine, with a pack size of 100.
A 6mm comb is for the documents that are nearly thin enough to staple and deserve not to be: agendas, quotes, short reports going out under a clear cover. It is published as suitable for binding 2-20 page documents. Inside that band the comb closes flat and the set opens flat, which is what a bound handover is for. White reads as part of the paper rather than a border around it.
A 6mm comb opens again after binding, so pages can come out or go in without punching a new set. On a white comb the spine reads as part of the pages behind a clear cover. Fellowes publishes a pack size of 100. Ten packs go to a carton, which keeps a binding station stocked from one order.
The other diameters and colours are at plastic binding combs, and this one is filed under the small-diameter combs. The machines that punch and close them are at comb binding machines, and the covers and pouches at binding and laminating consumables.
