Year 7 Science Study Guide
Excel Study Guide Science Year 7 supports Year 7 students through the Australian Curriculum Science course, one strand and topic at a time.
Written by Geoffrey Thickett and Jim Stamell, the guide covers all three strands, Science as a Human Endeavour, Science Inquiry Skills and Science Understanding. Chapters move through classification and ecology, then separating mixtures, then astronomy, water and resources, then forces, matching the biological, chemical, earth and space, and physical sciences sub-strands of the course.
A chapter on investigations and problem solving builds practical inquiry skills, and practice questions, chapter tests and a glossary of key terms back up each topic. Two course tests at the end let students check how well the whole year has stuck, with worked answers.
Students working across subjects may also want the matching Excel maths study guide. Explore more educational books, classroom teacher supplies and protective book coverings to get set up for the school year.
