Ten tactile plastic stones, each moulded with a different facial expression - happy, sad, angry, surprised, mischievous and more.

The whole point is that a child does not have to find the word. A four-year-old who cannot say "frustrated", or a child who freezes when asked how they feel, can pick up a stone. That is a conversation you could not otherwise have.

They work in the other direction too. Give a class one stone each and ask them to act it out, or build a story around three of them, and you are teaching emotional vocabulary through play rather than through a worksheet.

They are washable, which matters for something ten children handle every day.

The supplier names happy, sad, angry, surprised and mischievous among the ten. They do not publish the full list of all ten faces - if you need the complete set named for a program, ask us and we will get it from them.
Because a child can hold one, turn it over and put it in a pocket. Cards get bent and lost; a stone survives a class of five-year-olds and gives tactile input at the same time, which is calming in itself.
Wash them. They are plastic and the supplier specifically notes they can be washed, which is the reason to choose them over printed cards for a shared resource.
3 years and over per the supplier. The pointing-instead-of-naming approach is most useful for the youngest end of that range and for any child who struggles to put feelings into words.
Ten stones is one per child in a small group, or a check-in station a class rotates through. For a whole class doing the activity simultaneously you want three sets.

Express delivery for eligible parcels under 3kg is usually 1 to 4 business days in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
