Firm is the top of the range. It is for older students and adults, and for anyone who has worked through soft and medium and is no longer getting anything out of them. Handed to a young child cold, it will not budge and will end up in a drawer.

It is the grade that suits a strength program rather than a fidget. Real resistance for a short session beats easy resistance for a long one.

All three resistances are the same 80g tin and the same price. The only difference is how hard it is to work. If you are buying for a group, buy one of each and let the therapist or the student choose - starting on the wrong resistance is the usual reason putty gets abandoned.

The tin is marked 3+ and 80g on the packaging in the supplier's photo. That marking is on the tin; it is not written in Elizabeth Richards' product description.

For most young children, yes. Firm is for older students and adults, or for someone who has worked up through soft and medium. Start a child on the red soft tin.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
