Six Australian animals for art and topic work
Educational Colours Australian Animals Stencil Series #1, supplier code SAA61, is a set of 6 thick plastic stencils for art and topic work, featuring a koala, kangaroo, cockatoo, platypus, wombat and kookaburra.
Educational Colours describes these as large and durable thick plastic stencils. Every set includes both the positive and the negative of each stencil, so there are 2 of each animal. The brand lists the set as measuring 190mm x 190mm. This is the first of two Australian animal sets from Educational Colours, featuring well known native mammals and birds for a local wildlife unit.
Educational Colours says the stencils can be used with paint, markers, chalk and pastels, then cleaned with soap and water. Children can paint a bush scene with the koala, kangaroo and wombat, then add the cockatoo, platypus and kookaburra. The positive and negative pieces let children work with the shape or its outline.
Series 2 adds six more native animals, so the two sets work together for a bigger Australian wildlife display. Alongside this set, you can also browse more stencils, the Educational Colours range, classroom supplies and drawing supplies.
