Capture Every Idea with Confidence - A3 Space, Professional Paper, Built to Last

The Derwent Academy Visual Art Diary in A3 Portrait gives artists, students, and creatives a serious sketchbook that keeps up with their work - 120 pages of 110 gsm acid-free cartridge paper in a robust, portable format.

Acid-free cartridge paper at 110 gsm means pencil, charcoal, fine liner, and light washes all perform well without bleed-through or yellowing over time. The A3 portrait format provides generous drawing space for detailed work, life studies, or large-scale ideation. The spiral binding opens completely flat or folds back a full 360 degrees, so the book stays out of the way while you work.

A rigid polypropylene front cover and a sturdy board back make this diary practical away from the desk - on location, in the classroom, or at a client meeting. The double wire spiral spine handles daily opening and closing without fatigue, keeping pages secure and flat.

Stocked individually, this diary suits students seeking a reliable sketchbook and professionals who need a consistent, quality surface for everyday visual work. Order through Mega Office Supplies for fast delivery across Australia.

FAQs

The diary uses 110 gsm acid-free cartridge paper. This weight and quality suits pencil, charcoal, fine liner, and light washes without significant bleed-through. Acid-free construction means artwork will not yellow or deteriorate prematurely.
Yes. The double wire spiral spine allows the book to open fully flat or fold back a full 360 degrees. This keeps the cover out of your drawing area and makes the diary comfortable to use on a desk, easel, or while holding it on location.
This listing is for one diary. If you need multiple copies for a class or studio, you can adjust the quantity at checkout or contact Mega Office Supplies for bulk pricing.
The A3 Portrait format provides a generous vertical drawing area, making it well-suited for figure studies, portraiture, and detailed illustration. It is one of the larger standard diary formats available in the Derwent Academy range.
The front cover is made from rigid polypropylene, which resists flexing and minor impacts. The back is a sturdy board, giving you a firm surface to draw against without needing a separate drawing board. Both covers stand up well to regular transport in a bag.
