Highly pigmented Derwent Drawing pencil, Warm Earth

A wax-based 5mm core with a creamy texture: Derwent Drawing Warm Earth, colour 5550, in a box of 6.

The catalogue prints Warm Earth as Drawing colour 5550. Derwent pitches the pencils at wildlife, landscapes and portraiture. Derwent describes blending and layering to a smooth finish, with depth and texture. Pigment is high, and the palette is inspired by the natural world, says Derwent. Texture is creamy and the core is soft and thick, according to Derwent. A wax-based 5mm core runs through each pencil.

The colour reference to match on the Derwent chart is 5550. For purchase orders, use our code AA700682 or Derwent's code 0700682. Our listing is a box of 6 pencils, every one in Warm Earth. Derwent's range features table rates the range 4 for point strength and 5 for blendable.

Derwent Artist Pencils holds the Derwent pencil ranges on our site, Warm Earth included. You can also reach this listing through Education Writing Supplies, which brings pencils and writing supplies together in one collection.
