Derwent Watercolour Primrose Yellow, water-soluble colour pencils

Six Derwent Watercolour pencils in Primrose Yellow, colour number 400, each with a soft, water-soluble 3.5mm core in a hexagonal barrel.

Primrose Yellow (400) belongs to the Derwent Watercolour range of 72 colours. Derwent pairs the control of a pencil with the watercolour medium: lay colour down dry, then mix it with water to create colour flows. The soft, wax-based core measures 3.5mm and sits in a hexagonal barrel. Because Watercolour is not permanent once dry, earlier marks can be re-wet and moved about.

Our product code is AA32804; Derwent's code is 32804. Inside the box are 6 pencils, all Primrose Yellow, colour number 400. Beyond single colours, Derwent supplies the Watercolour range in tins and wooden boxes, and lists the range as available individually as well.

Browse Derwent Artist Pencils for Derwent's other pencil ranges in single colours and sets. For more pencils that work with water, see Watercolour & Inktense Pencils. School buyers will also find classroom stock in Education Writing Supplies.
