Red Violet Lake in the Derwent Artists range with a highly pigmented core

A box of 6 Derwent Artists pencils in Red Violet Lake, with a strong point for layering and blending.

Red Violet Lake is colour 2400 in the Derwent Artists pencil range. The Artists range runs to 78 colours and covers styles from bold landscapes to detailed illustration work. Artists pencils have a firm, wax-based core that is highly pigmented, giving a smooth and rich colour laydown. Derwent sizes the core at 4mm and describes this larger core as made for broad, expressive strokes. Derwent pairs the firm point with an extensive colour range for detailed light layering.

We sell Red Violet Lake as a box of 6 pencils, all in the one colour. Art rooms, studios and design teams can reorder this one colour on its own. When ordering, quote Derwent code 3202400 or our code AA3202400. The colour number in the Derwent list is 2400, a handy cross-check against stock on the shelf.

Everyday drawing and writing pencils for the same order sit in Pencils. This box sits in our Artist Pencils collection with the other artist colour pencils. To round out the order, Writing Supplies lists pens and other writing stock.
