Inktense Block in Sepia Ink, Six Blocks of One Colour

Derwent Inktense Block in Sepia Ink, colour number 2010, is sold here as a pack of 6 blocks of the one colour under Derwent code 2302080.

Derwent describes Inktense Blocks as highly pigmented, intensely vibrant watercolour blocks that are permanent when fully dry. Each is a square, wax-based block with a soft texture. Use a flat face for broad coverage or a corner for precise marks, then add water and the colour intensifies. Derwent also suggests grating, shaving or crumbling a block for texture effects.

Because light washes dry permanently, a dried layer can be worked over without lifting it, which suits layered illustration and mixed media. Derwent states the colour is fixed on fabric when hand washed in cool water below 30 degrees without harsh detergents, so the blocks also suit textile projects.

Other single colours sit in Derwent Inktense Blocks, and the same palette in pencil form is in Derwent Inktense Pencils. For brushes to activate the colour, see craft paint brushes or browse the full Derwent range.
