Chocolate pastel pencil from the Derwent Pastel range
Six Derwent Pastel pencils in Chocolate, each with a chalky 4mm pastel core and the Derwent colour number P590.
Derwent Pastel pencils hold fine grade pastel in pencil form, and this box is Chocolate, colour P590. A chalky texture and a 4mm powder-based core define the range. Derwent names detailed drawings and sketches, portraiture and life studies as its uses, and notes that pastel is naturally water-soluble, so light washes can be made with water.
We supply Chocolate as a box of 6 pencils in the one colour. Quote AA2300288 with us, or 2300288 against the Derwent catalogue, where this colour is listed as P590. Derwent grades Chocolate at 8 on its Blue Wool lightfast scale, which runs from 0 to 8 with 8 the highest rating.
For more pastel stock, see our Craft Pastels collection. Drawing and painting supplies for art rooms and studios are gathered in Art & Craft Supplies, which covers our wider art and craft range.
