Derwent Pastel Pencils colour P460, Emerald Green

Emerald Green is colour P460 in Derwent Pastel Pencils, a chalky, powder-based pastel pencil with a 4mm core, sold here as a box of 6.

Emerald Green (P460) is a Derwent Pastel pencil: fine grade pastel held in a pencil with a 4mm, powder-based core. Derwent lists the texture as chalky and says the fine chalk gives a laydown of soft colour that blends, with high pigment and minimal dusting. With water, the same marks can be opened out into light washes, since pastel is naturally water-soluble.

For purchase orders, AA2300275 is our code and 2300275 is the Derwent code. The box holds 6 Emerald Green pencils, which is how we sell this colour. Derwent prints a Blue Wool rating of 8 for Emerald Green, on a scale that runs from 0 to 8. The range is rated 4 for erasable and 4 for colour intensity.

Other pastel lines we carry are grouped in our Craft Pastels collection. For drawing and painting materials beyond pastels, including stock for studios and art rooms, look through Art & Craft Supplies, where the wider art and craft range sits.
