Saffron P050: fine grade pastel in pencil form

Derwent code 2300234 is Saffron, colour P050, from the Derwent Pastel Pencils range, which we sell in a box of 6.

Colour P050, Saffron, belongs to the Derwent Pastel Pencils range. Derwent's description is fine grade pastel in pencil form, with a fine chalk texture. Texture is listed as chalky, over a powder-based core 4mm across. Derwent notes the medium is naturally water-soluble, so water can turn the colour into a light wash. The range is aimed at detailed drawings and sketches, along with portraiture and life studies. Derwent describes the pencils as highly pigmented, with minimal dusting.

Our listing is a box of 6 pencils, every one in Saffron. For purchase orders, use our code AA2300234 or Derwent's 2300234. Derwent gives the range 5 for blendable and 3 for point strength in its range features table.

Two collections hold this product: Craft Pastels, for the pastel lines we stock, and Art & Craft Supplies, for the full art and craft range we keep on the shelf.
