Metallic thread hanks for decorative stitching
Zart Metallic Threads Coloured, supplier code CT015, is a pack of 24 metallic thread hanks from The Creative School Supply Company, with 3 hanks of each of 8 colours.
The Creative School Supply Company suggests adding metallic thread to an embroidery piece to extend its colour range, and notes that it suits decorative stitchery samplers. Each hank holds 8 metres of thread. The pack is made up of 3 hanks in each of 8 colours, so the colours are repeated across the pack rather than all different.
Metallic thread sits alongside cotton embroidery thread to add accent lines and highlights in a sampler or stitched picture, which is the use the supplier suggests. There are 3 hanks of each of the 8 colours, and a hank can be cut into working lengths.
Use it with stranded cotton and perle cotton for mixed stitchery, and tapestry needles with a large eye. Browse knitting and yarn craft, educational craft supplies, art and craft supplies and Zart.
