Here's how you can use the Lino Tile Velvet Print Double Sided with lino carving tools to create intricate designs:
- Prepare your design: Draw or trace your design onto a piece of paper. Keep in mind that your design will be reversed when printed, so if it includes text, make sure it is mirrored.
- Transfer your design: Place your design face-down onto the lino block and rub the back of the paper with a pencil or burnishing tool to transfer the image onto the block.
- Begin carving: Using lino carving tools, carefully carve away the areas of the block you want to remain unprinted. Start with larger areas and work your way down to the finer details. Remember that the areas you carve away will appear white or unprinted in the final print.
- Test your carving: Make a test print to check if you have carved away enough material and if your design looks good. If necessary, make adjustments to your carving based on the test print.
- Printing: Apply ink to your carved block using a roller or brayer. Press the inked block onto your desired surface, such as paper or fabric, and apply even pressure. Carefully lift the block to reveal your print.
- Double-sided carving (optional): If your carving is shallow and there is enough material left on the other side, you can create a second design on the reverse side of the block. This is a great way to maximise the use of your Lino Tile Velvet Print Double Sided.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
