Recycled cotton paper eggs to decorate and build on
Zart Handmade Paper Eggs, supplier code PAZ074, are a pack of 10 hollow eggs made from recycled cotton fibre, sold by The Creative School Supply Company as an alternative to polystyrene.
The Creative School Supply Company describes these eggs as a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to polystyrene. They are made from recycled cotton fibre, are lightweight and can be easily cut or poked into. For the classroom, the supplier suggests decorating them with paper, washi tape, stamped paint, Slick paint sticks and Magiclay. It also notes the textured surface for sensory play.
The hollow shell can be cut into, so the eggs work as a base for construction as well as decoration. The supplier advises piercing the surface with a pin first, which makes it easier to insert pins, satay sticks and stems. Each pack holds 10 eggs.
Handmade paper balls in the same Zart range suit the same kinds of projects, and washi tape and Magiclay are listed for decorating. Browse paper mache craft supplies, craft shapes and blanks, educational craft supplies and Zart.
