Ribbed cylinder beads with a generous threading hole
The Zart Cylinder Beads 100g, supplier code BG204, are colourful ribbed cylinder beads measuring 5x7mm with a generous 3mm hole that makes them easier to thread.
The Creative School Supply Company lists seven colours: green, light blue, purple, hot pink, red, orange and yellow. The supplier suggests the beads for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, key chains and charms, and as an embellishment on sewing projects. The beads are packaged in a resealable zip lock bag that also stores them between uses.
A 3mm hole on a small bead takes cord more easily, so threading moves along smoothly. The ribbed surface adds texture to a strand, and the seven colours can be combined into stripes and repeating patterns. The zip lock bag keeps leftover beads together for the next project.
Combine them with alphabet or shaped beads for variety in each strand, then thread them onto stretch cord. Browse beading supplies, craft jewellery supplies and educational craft supplies, or the Zart range.
