Copper tape for paper circuits and STEAM projects
Zart Conductive Copper Adhesive Tape 8mm x 20m, supplier code AT301, is a roll of conductive copper tape from The Creative School Supply Company for building conductive tracks in paper circuits and STEAM activities.
The supplier says the copper tape conducts from both sides, even through the adhesive back. For extra conductivity when joining components such as LEDs, battery packs and vibration motors, it suggests laying the copper tape track first, then sandwiching the component terminal with another piece of copper tape on top.
Because the tape conducts through the adhesive back, the supplier's method of sandwiching a component terminal between two layers of tape gives extra conductivity at joins. The supplier also notes the tape can be used for decorative projects such as steampunk artworks. The roll is 20m long.
