Pre-sewn calico bears to stuff, close and decorate
Zart Calico Teddy Bears Pack of 10, supplier code MT090, are pre-sewn 280mm calico bears from The Creative School Supply Company, ready to trim, turn, stuff and decorate.
Zart sets out the steps for each bear. Trim and clip the seams, turn the calico inside out, stuff with 250 grams of Polyester Filling, close up and decorate. The filling is a separate Zart product, supplier code WA053. The supplier gives the bear size as 280mm, and the pack holds 10 bears.
Students work through a full soft toy process without having to cut and sew the body from scratch. The bears give a blank calico surface for a character or design once they are stuffed. Zart's washing advice suits finished bears too: cold water only to avoid shrinkage, and hand wash or a gentle machine cycle.
Each bear is plain calico until it is stuffed and decorated. Other pre-sewn calico shapes include hand puppets and reindeers. Look through craft shapes and blanks, calico bags, decorating options in craft paints and the wider Zart range.
