Fruit shaped beads for threading, stitching and embellishing
Zart Fruit Shape Beads, supplier code BGZ504, are a bulk pack of 200 novelty beads in assorted fruit designs for jewellery, stitching and embellishment projects at school or at home.
Zart lists eight fruit designs in the assortment: apple, lemon, grapes, orange, strawberry, pear, watermelon and melon. The brand suggests threading them on stretch beading cord to make necklaces and bracelets, or stitching and gluing them onto artworks, bags and fabric projects to add interest. Zart describes the designs as fun and quirky, and says students and adults can use them to personalise artwork and wearable creations.
Zart describes beading as an activity that promotes creativity and self-expression and teaches colour theory, pattern and geometry. The brand also calls it meditative, saying it supports relaxation and mindfulness practices. Fruit designs give students a theme to work with when they plan a strand or decorate a fabric piece.
Shaped beads sit well alongside plain ones on a strand. Find more novelty and shaped beads under beading supplies and craft jewellery supplies, or browse the wider Zart range and our educational craft supplies for the art room.
