Thirty-six deeper Ciao colours with a run of warm greys

Set D of the Copic Ciao 36 colour series gathers darker tones that the other 36 sets leave out, rounded off with a set of warm greys.

According to Copic Australia, Set D is made up mostly of darker colours not found in the other 36 piece sets, with warm greys added. They describe it as a well-balanced selection of dark shades, and the swatch chart shows warm greys W1, W3, W5 and W7 among them. It forms part of the five set path to all 180 Ciao colours.

Copic fit every Ciao marker with two tips, Super Brush and Medium Broad, giving you a fine flexible end and a wider end in one pen. The clear acrylic case holds all 36 upright, and the markers are refillable with Copic ink, with nibs that can be replaced when worn.

Well suited to artists who need depth and shadow in their palette. Browse more art markers and brush markers, or find art paper and canvas for finished pieces and studies.

FAQs

Thirty-six Copic Ciao markers from Set D, mainly darker shades plus four warm greys, held in a clear acrylic case labelled with the colour codes.
Copic Australia say Set D is built from darker colours that are not included in the other 36 piece sets, so it adds new shades rather than repeating them.
The Ciao 72 Set B combines 36 Set C with 36 Set D, according to Copic Australia.
No. The Copic catalogue lists Ciao as not compatible with the airbrush system. That feature belongs to Sketch and Classic markers.
They can. Ciao nibs are listed as replaceable, and Copic's nib guide suggests changing damaged nibs while refilling and keeping spare tips and Copic tweezers on hand.
