Connoisseur 50104 is the 220 mm table knife from Weatherdon's Satin cutlery range, sold here in a pack of 12 for laying the dinner setting in a hotel, club or canteen.

At 220 mm it is the longest piece in the Satin family, sized for cutting through a main meal rather than spreading butter. Weatherdon make it from 18/0 grade stainless steel and give it a brushed finish, the soft matt look that names the range, so it sits comfortably beside white porcelain without the glare of a mirror polish.

The Satin knife shares its handle shape with the matching fork, dessert spoon and teaspoon, so a venue can set every place with one consistent pattern and top up a single piece when knives go missing. Weatherdon do not describe a serrated edge for 50104, so we make no claim either way. For steak service, check with us before ordering.
It is the grade Weatherdon give for this knife. We do not publish any further corrosion or durability rating because Weatherdon do not state one.
Weatherdon list them as dishwasher safe. Their care sheet, downloadable on this page, says to rinse straight after use, avoid scouring pads and abrasive detergents, and dry promptly rather than leaving cutlery to soak.
The Connoisseur Satin fork 50103, dessert spoon 50102 and teaspoon 50101 share the same brushed finish and handle.
