The 50 litre stainless pedal bin for a busy shared kitchen
Compass 7697500 is the larger 50 L model in the Compass brushed stainless pedal bin range, with a soft close lid, a lid that stays up once lifted by hand to 90 degrees, plus a plastic liner that lifts out, measuring 426 L x 363 W x 646 H mm.
Kitchens that feed a whole floor, a cafe back room or a family sized serviced apartment fill a 30 L bin too quickly. This one carries much more between bag changes while keeping the same clean, rectangular look. Weatherdon's photo shows it standing at the end of a white kitchen island on a timber floor, which is the sort of open plan space where a tidy, fingerprint resistant brushed finish earns its keep.
The pedal raises the lid and the soft close action lowers it gently, and Weatherdon's motion shot shows the lid rising in stages on its rear hinge. Lift it fully by hand to 90 degrees and it locks open for emptying, so the liner can be pulled out with both hands.
The slimmer 30 L model is 7697300. See more in Commercial Waste Bins and Rubbish Bins, with bags in Bin Liners.
