A full height swing top bin for busy staff kitchens
Compass 7640302 is a 38 L rectangular swing top bin in white PP plastic, 420 L x 330 W x 600 H mm, listed by Weatherdon as an ideal kitchen bin.
This is the size for a kitchen that serves a whole floor. At 600 mm high the opening sits at about hand height for a standing adult, so scraps and packaging go in without bending, and 38 L means fewer trips to the outside bins over the day. The flap swings back after each use to keep the contents out of sight.
Weatherdon's photos show the domed lid lifting away from the body for bag changes and small slots near the top of the body. The white plastic is light even at this size and wipes clean, which suits breakrooms, canteens and staff rooms.
A 20 L model suits smaller tea points. For bags to fit, see our bin liners, and compare commercial and large bins and the full Compass range.
