Chroma Chromacryl Texture Paste 500ml carries 500ml 16.9 US fl oz on the front label, beneath the orange Texture Paste band.

The range label describes it as a brushable modelling compound ideal for multiple texturing techniques, drying to a white finish that the label says stays free of cracking and yellowing with age. A jar this size suits a small group table, where four or five students dip palette knives in turn to build ridges, swirls and relief on boards before painting them in colour.

Because the paste can be tinted with Chromacryl Students' Acrylic, a group can work in a coloured ground from the start, or leave it white and paint over the dried relief later. The label also recommends it in collage for holding heavier items to the surface.

Scrape spare paste back into the jar and close it tightly so it stays soft. Colour it with acrylic paints, work on classroom canvas boards, and browse knives and palettes in painting accessories.
