Pastel Mist, a Foggy Blue Grey

Pastel Mist is a pale blue grey, like morning fog, that suits misty landscapes, soft architectural studies and calm neutral backgrounds.

The pale blue-grey band reads PASTEL MIST in bold capitals with a half-filled circle and Series 1, and below that Brume Pastel, Pastellnebel and Niebla Pastel. In our photos the tube appears as a clean render rather than a photograph of a used tube. Chroma's Atelier band shows the founding date Est. 1965 under Fine Artists' Paint, and the white base of the Pastel Mist tube reads Interactive Acrylic and Unlockable Formula.

Foggy valleys, quiet harbour mornings and pale building facades all benefit from a soft, cool grey. As a Series 1 tube it is one of the lower-priced Atelier colours, and the 80ml size keeps a useful supply on hand for studio work or a class bag.

Pastel Mist is code AI60150, one of seven Series 1 pastels. Other parts of a quiet, soft palette are in more acrylic paints, acrylic mediums, a set of brushes and art paper and canvas.
