Cadmium Orange Free Flow Artists' Acrylic, 60ml
Cadmium Orange is a bright flame orange for sunsets, fire, marigolds and strong warm accents in any palette.
Its swatch is a saturated flame orange at full strength that fades to a light, warm peach toward the dry end of the stroke. The label on this flame orange reads Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic. This blazing orange is Series 4, marked opaque. Pigment for this flame orange: PO.20. Lightfastness for this flame orange: ASTM 1. The blazing orange shows British Woolscale 8:8:8. Kadmiumorange (German), Cadmium Orange (French) and Anaranjado de Cadmio (Spanish) also appear.
Kept in 60ml, the cadmium orange slips into a studio drawer or plein air bag, ready for flame-bright sunset and nasturtium studies. Marked opaque, the blazing orange is the one for solid passages of flame orange. The flip-top cap gives small squeezes of the flame orange.
Build a palette around this flame orange from the acrylic paint range. Lay in flames using brushes, and paint the blazing orange onto canvas and art paper. Keep the flame orange kit tidy with palettes and painting accessories.
