Chroma Atelier Free Flow Red Gold, 60ml Bottle
Red Gold is a rusty copper orange for autumn leaves, terracotta, copper pots and warm sunlit earth.
The swatch shows a brick-toned copper at full strength, warming to orange and then a golden yellow where the stroke runs thin. Red Gold wears the Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic banner. This red gold is Series 3, with the opaque symbol. Pigment listed for this rusty copper: PY.74LF and PR.175. Red Gold lightfastness: ASTM 1. The red gold shows British Woolscale 7:8-7:8. Other names for this copper orange: Rotgold, Or Rouge, Rojo Dorado.
The 60ml red gold bottle is a handy studio and travel size for autumn sketches, copper still life and small earthy studies. The red gold carries the filled opaque dot, for covering earlier rusty copper work. This copper orange squeezes out through a black flip-top cap.
This copper orange sits naturally beside other acrylic colours. Thin the red gold with painting mediums, brush copper pots with brushes, and paint the rusty copper onto canvas and art paper.
