Arylamide Yellow Light Free Flow Artists' Acrylic, 60ml
Arylamide Yellow Light is a warm sunflower yellow for sunlit fields, wattle blossom, bright florals and cheerful graphic work.
Brushed onto the swatch, it is a clear sunflower yellow with a slightly golden edge, turning paler and creamier as it thins. The label on this sunflower reads Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic. This buttercup is Series 3, marked semi-transparent. Pigment for this sunflower: PW.6 and PY.74LF. Lightfastness for this sunflower: ASTM 1. The buttercup shows British Woolscale 7-8:7-8:6-7. Arylamidgelb Hell (German), Jaune Arylamide Clair (French) and Amarillo Arilamida Claro (Spanish) also appear.
As a 60ml bottle the light arylamide fits a studio palette or a travel kit for floral sketches, wattle studies and colour charts. Marked semi-transparent, the buttercup gives part cover, so earlier layers soften under the sunflower. The flip-top cap gives small squeezes of the sunflower.
Build a palette around this sunflower from the acrylic paint range. Lay in wattle using brushes, and paint the buttercup onto canvas and art paper. Keep the sunflower kit tidy with palettes and painting accessories.
