Chroma Atelier Free Flow Paynes Grey in 250ml
Paynes Grey in a 250ml bottle suits painters who block in large storm skies, seascapes and dark grounds.
Its swatch is a deep slate with a blue undertone, easing to a soft cool grey in the wash. Paynes Grey carries the Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic banner. Gris de Payne is its French name. The Paynes Grey is a Series 2, transparent colour. This blue-black lists pigment PB.29:PBk.7, then Lightfastness ASTM 1. Paynes Grey Woolscale reads 8:8:8. AT12070 is the 250ml code.
In 250ml, Paynes Grey covers large storm skies, seascapes and dark grounds on bigger canvases with paint left over. Transparent on the label, the Paynes Grey works for glazes. Paynes Grey pours via a flip-top cap. This slate grey at 250ml also suits shared studio stock.
Paynes Grey at 250ml sits well with acrylic colours. The Paynes Grey on big canvases needs palettes, and this slate grey pairs with art paper. Paynes Grey grounds want brushes.
