One Spare Bit for the Carl 122N and 124N

The Carl 122MD is the spare punching drill shared by two machines: the 122N two hole punch and the 124N four hole punch.

ACCO list it for both models, which makes it a useful part to stock if your office runs one of each. It replaces a worn punching bit so the machine keeps making clean holes, and ACCO describe it as simple to install.

Worn bits show up as fluffy edges around the hole, paper that sticks to the bit, or a handle that needs more force than it used to. Replacing the bit usually fixes all three. If your punch also uses cutting discs under the bits, change the disc at the same time.

ACCO list this code by the piece. The 124N uses four bits and the 122N two, so count the worn ones before ordering.
