Where the Leftover Toner Goes
The genuine Brother WT-320CL is a colour laser waste toner box, the part that collects surplus toner so it cannot contaminate the inside of the printer, rated by Brother at approximately 50,000 pages.
Not all the toner a colour laser uses ends up on paper. Some is scraped off during cleaning and colour registration, and the waste toner box is where it goes. It is a sealed container, so the point of replacing it on time is to stop loose toner finding its way into the machine. It sits underneath the belt unit, which is why Brother's procedure has you lift the drum and the belt out first. This one is shared across two printer generations, which is unusual and worth knowing: Brother uses it with both the DR-341CL and DR-441CL and the BU-320CL and BU-330CL. That is why its printer list below is longer than any single belt's.
Brother rates this waste toner box at approximately 50,000 pages. Brother publishes no pages-per-job basis for it, unlike its drum range, so we do not add one - the figure is quoted exactly as Brother gives it. In practice the printer tracks the part itself and will tell you when it is near the end of its life, which is more reliable than any page count.
Your printer warns you first - the display shows WT Box End Soon, which is when to order, then Replace WT Box when it is due. A waste toner box is a single-use sealed part: it is not designed to be emptied or reused. If you are fitting one for the first time on a new machine, note that the original has two pieces of orange packing material to remove, which a replacement does not. It works with the DR-341CL and DR-441CL drum, the TN-341, TN-346, TN-441, TN-443 and TN-446 toner range and the BU-320CL and BU-330CL belt unit. Using the genuine Brother part keeps the printer's own parts-life counters accurate, which is what lets it warn you in advance instead of failing mid-job. Replacement is an end-user job.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
