Cable Labels That Survive Being Handled
The genuine Brother TZe-SL651 is a self-laminating label tape for cable marking - 24mm wide, 8m long, black on yellow - which lays a protective laminate over the printed text as it prints.
Brother's own description of how this works is worth being precise about, because it is not what people assume. There is no clear tail you fold over by hand. The laminate goes on during printing, over the top of the text, which is what makes the label survive being wrapped around a cable and handled. Brother positions it as the cost-effective route to durable cable marking, and notes that at 24mm it suits the larger diameter CAT6A cables. Brother publishes a wrap range of 3.0mm to 6.6mm diameter for the 24mm tape.
Brother recommends it for LAN cabling - patch cords and permanent links - along with computer cables such as USB and data leads, and power cords. That is the job it is built for: a label that has to go round a cable, be pulled through a rack, and still be readable in five years. Brother notes that its self-laminating labels have the same properties as its flexible ID labels, and the laminated TZe range is UL recognised as a component to UL 969 and rated by Brother from minus 80 to plus 150 degrees Celsius.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
