It prints up to 58mm wide, on Brother DK media from 12mm to 62mm. Brother rates the maximum label length at up to 1 metre. The DK codes differ between QL models, so check yours against the list before you order.

No. It has an integrated control panel and a 320 by 120 dot backlit LCD, so it prints label templates already stored in its memory with nothing attached. For designing new labels you still use a PC, Mac or the mobile app.
