The Brother MFC-L8390CDW is a professional compact colour all-in-one with an LED engine in Brother's colour laser class: up to 30 pages a minute, single pass duplex scanning and NFC.

Output is 600 x 600 dpi with the 2,400 dpi class quality mode, from a 250 sheet tray plus a 30 sheet multi purpose tray, with one optional 250 sheet tray taking the maximum to 530 sheets. The 50 sheet feeder captures both sides in a single pass, and connection covers Gigabit Ethernet, dual band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, USB and a USB host port.

Toner runs a tier deeper than the compact colour model, all ISO/IEC 19798: TN258 at 1,000 pages, TN258XL at 3,000 black and 2,300 per colour, and TN259 at 4,500 black and 4,000 per colour, on a 20,000 page DR258CL drum. It ships with 2,600 black and 1,400 colour pages in box.
