M-series is Brother's older non-laminated format. The print sits on the tape surface, where TZe tape seals it under a clear laminate applied during printing. That makes TZe far more resistant to handling, water and rough handling. M tape is fine for indoor organising; it is not a substitute for TZe where a label takes any punishment.

Brother publishes no durability testing for M tape - no temperature range, no water resistance, no outdoor rating - so we do not quote any. If the label needs to survive weather, washing or rough handling, choose a laminated TZe tape instead.

Brother lists exactly one: the handheld PT-90. Brother now flags that machine as discontinued, and has stopped publishing a price for this tape while still pricing its other M-series cassettes. It is end-of-line stock. Ask us before ordering in quantity.

Yes. This is an original Brother cassette, not a compatible or third-party alternative. Compatible cassettes are a common cause of feed and cutter faults in P-touch machines.
