Measure the diameter of the cable, not the tube. This cassette shrinks onto conductors between 0.8mm and 3.1mm across. Below 0.8mm the tube will not grip once shrunk; above 3.1mm it will not slide on in the first place. The 5.2mm figure in the name is the flat width of the tube before shrinking, which is why it looks larger than the cable it suits.
