A Compact Mono Laser With A Flatbed Scanner On Top

The Brother HL-L2464DW is a compact monochrome laser printer with a flatbed scanner built in, printing up to 28 pages a minute with automatic two sided printing, plus copy and scan from the glass.

Print is 1200 x 1200 dpi from a 250 sheet tray with a single sheet manual feed slot. The scanner is a flatbed, so it copies and scans single sheets and book pages from the glass; there is no automatic document feeder, and connectivity is dual band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and USB with no wired Ethernet port. Brother rates it for 250 to 2,500 pages a month.

It takes the same supplies as its print only sibling: TN2530 at 1,200 pages or TN2530XL at 3,000, both ISO/IEC 19752 rated. One thing worth knowing before you buy: the starter cartridge in the box is rated at 700 pages, so budget for a full cartridge sooner than you might expect.
