One Drum Unit for All Four Colours
The genuine Brother DR-341CL is a single four-colour laser drum unit rated by Brother at approximately 25,000 pages at one page per job.
This is one drum unit that serves all four colours, not four separate drums. The four toner cartridges clip into their own colour-coded sections of the single drum, so one part replaces the whole imaging assembly. Brother Australia has removed this printer generation from its website, so there is no current compatibility list on the product page. Brother's own support site still lists the drum against the HL-L8250CDN, HL-L8350CDW, MFC-L8850CDW and MFC-L9550CDW, and groups further models of the same generation with them. If your machine is not named here, send us the model and we will confirm before you order.
Brother rates this drum at approximately 25,000 pages at one page per job. That qualifier does real work. Drum wear tracks how often the drum cycles rather than how many sheets pass through, and the printer turns it for every job, so a hundred single-page jobs cost far more drum life than one long document. Offices printing multi-page work routinely get past the rated figure. Unlike toner, drums carry no ISO yield standard, which is why Brother states a pages-per-job basis instead.
Faded or washed-out print points to toner; marks, banding or ghosting repeating at a regular interval down every page points to the drum. The printer tracks drum life separately from toner level and will prompt you when it is due. On a colour laser the drum works alongside two other wear parts - the BU-320CL belt unit and the WT-320CL waste toner box - and the printer reports all three separately, so they rarely come due together. This drum pairs with the TN-341 and TN-346 toner range. A genuine Brother drum holds the imaging geometry and colour registration the printer was built around, which is what keeps streaks and misaligned colour out of the output. Replacement is an end-user job, with no tools and no service call.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible.
