Short, Wide And Built For Small Firm Bundles

Bounce Size 28 is a 40mm x 3.5mm rubber band in natural tan, packed in a 500g bag for small bundles that call for a wider band than the fine office sizes.

Size 28 is the only band in the 3.5mm width group on the Bounce chart. At 40mm long it is barely longer than the 35mm Size 10, but more than twice as wide, which gives each band more rubber across its face. That shape suits compact, awkward items: coiled charger leads, bundles of pens and tools, rolled socks in a retail store room, or a lid held on a sample jar. For stacks of paper a longer, finer size usually sits better.

The bag is labelled Size 28, 500g Bag and printed Made in Thailand, and Bounce source the natural rubber from Thai plantations. Expect a rubber smell from the natural latex, which Bounce mention in their FAQ. It can hold a small stack, but it is short. For paper and envelopes a longer band such as Size 32 or Size 33 usually fits better.
