Year 5 Reading Comprehension and Writing Test Practice

Blake's Back to Basics Year 5 NAPLAN-style Reading and Writing by Jane Bourke gives Year 5 students structured practice for the reading and writing parts of literacy testing.

The workbook is split into two halves. The Reading section has 11 units graded at beginner, medium and advanced levels, each with comprehension questions and handy tips, followed by three NAPLAN-style reading tests per level. The Writing section explains persuasive, narrative, recount and explanation texts, with assessment grids and planning sheets for each one.

Each of the four text types ends with a NAPLAN-style writing test that draws on a 16-page pull-out reading booklet. Answers to every unit and test sit at the back, so parents and tutors can check work quickly. The book is produced independently and is not an officially endorsed NAPLAN publication.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
