120L liners for waste rooms and collection points

BioPak 120L bin liners are a large liner for waste rooms, loading docks and central collection points, sold as a carton of 144 in 12 sleeves of 12.

BioPak states that PSB-C-0003 holds certification to AS 4736 for industrial composting and to AS 5810 for composting at home. Each carton of 144 is 28.5 x 21.5 x 24cm and 9.9kg gross on BioPak's figures, useful numbers for freight and storage, and the liners inside lie 870mm wide by 1320mm long when flat.

The material is given by BioPak as PLA under the Ecopond name, in light green, with 120000ml to the brim. BioPak advises cold use only for this PLA film, and liners kept for later should stay out of direct sunlight in a cool store.

Keep spare sleeves stored below 35°C, as BioPak advises for this film. Find other sizes in bin liners and the wider BioPak range, with wheelie and pedal bins in rubbish bins and waste management.

FAQs

That depends on your council, as each local collection sets its own liner rules. What BioPak lists for PSB-C-0003 is certification to AS 5810 and AS 4736, so compare those standard numbers with the liners your council accepts.
A carton holds 144 liners, made up of 12 sleeves with 12 liners in each. BioPak puts that carton at 28.5 x 21.5 x 24cm and 9.9kg gross.
Laid flat, BioPak's drawing shows 870mm across by 1320mm long, and the spec sheet lists a brim fill capacity of 120000ml. Measure your wheelie bin or drum before ordering, as BioPak does not name compatible bins.
BioPak advises keeping them under 35°C with no direct sunlight, and PLA softens at higher temperatures. A hot, sunny enclosure does not meet that advice, so keep spare stock indoors.
