The Classic Clear Barrel Ballpoint in Red Ink

The BIC Cristal 8127971 is the medium capped ballpoint BIC first introduced in 1950, here with red ink in a box of 50 for offices, schools and anyone who wants a pen that simply keeps writing.

BIC Australia lists the Cristal Original with a medium 1.0mm nib and says it can write up to 3km. BIC's diagram shows a transparent, sturdy body so the ink level stays visible, a hexagonal barrel that helps stop it rolling, and a ventilated cap in the colour of the ink. BIC states the pen is only manufactured in BIC factories, with more than 70 controls through production.

A box of 50 keeps a whole office floor, staffroom or exam room supplied with one ink colour, and the clear barrel shows which pens are nearly empty before they run out mid-sentence. The capped design suits pen pots and shared desks.

Compare other bulk boxes in bulk buy ballpoint pens, smaller boxes in capped pens, click pens in retractable ballpoint pens, or the wider BIC range for markers, crayons and correction tape.
